Limiting Beliefs & Other baggage
Our experiences shape our lives.
Our happy experiences imprint memories and positive physical, mental and emotional triggers. Which is why when something in our present triggers a happy memory, it brings us back to that point in time and we feel the feelings we felt then, happiness, laughter and a multitude of other positive sensations are triggered for us to relive in the present moment.
Unfortunately, the same can be said for the traumatic experiences in our lives. When present situations trigger traumatic memories we are often overwhelmed, emotional, anxious, stressed. It impacts our lives and the lives of those we love. When we have to struggle to get through day to day activities because of the baggage we carry from our past, we are surviving rather than thriving. We need to do something to help regain the happiness we have lost.
I understand what it is to struggle. I know what it's like to hear people say "let it go" , "get over it", "move on" and wishing it was as simple as that; yet I also know past experiences change us in ways most people would never understand. I understand because I've been there.
While our experiences differ, I know working with someone who can personally relate to what you've gone through provides a much different level of understanding, trust and comfort. It's why people are drawn to support groups; because they are people who know first hand what we are experiencing. The difference is, instead of a group, we are working one-to-one; just you and I, together.
I will work with you, at your pace, to help you find some of the peace and happiness you seek. To help you build a happier life moving forward enabling you to live and thrive. Give yourself permission to move forward; let's work together, now, for a healthier, happier present and future.
